Bath Time

This is not how I always bath Trace. He has a bath tub that fits in the kitchen sink. Which is much easier on my back. However, when we were in Delaware we didn't have a bathtub so we put a towel down in the tub and ran about an inch of water. We tried it here the other night too. He just loved splashing away and kicking the water. He likes his little bathtub too but he cant kick and splash in it, so this was a treat.

Pictures, but read the post below too.

This is how Trace felt about pictures this weekend.
He is a cute little pitiful thing... :)

Fathers Day!

Well, we had a pretty laid back Fathers Day. Logan spent the night Saturday night so I got up with the boys and let John sleep in. John and Logan went to the pool. Trace and I stayed in. Then John, Trace and I watched the US Open and I got take out sushi for dinner. (I didn't even have to cook). Though I did make John my special (Grandma Farese) cheesecake on Saturday for his birthday / fathers day present! Trace is feeling a little under the weather. He has a little cold. John took him to the doctor this morning. The doctor said that he has the start of an ear infection. I hope they don't continue. I know so many people that have ear infection problems with their children. I hope this is a one time thing. Our plane coming back from Delaware didn't have air circulation. The air system wasn't working so it was just really warm and stuffy. This probably didn't help. The doctor also looked at the rash that has been on his face. It turns out it is more than a heat rash. He has pretty sensitive skin. She prescribed some cream that is suppose to clear it up. Lets hope it helps! I hope everyone had a great fathers day!
I know that Trace has the best daddy ever! Love you daddy!

I tried to add pictures to this post. But it keeps giving me an error. So I will try again later.
Sorry Grandma!!!!

I'm 3 months old!!!

My sweet little boy is three months old today. He has started gurgling the last couple of days and sticking his tongue out. He thinks it's really funny. I tried to get a picture with his tongue out but I couldn't catch it. Happy birthday Trace!

Mom-mom & Pop-pop's

We had a great time at Mom-mom and Pop-pop's (aka. Johns parents). Trace did really well on the plane. He fell asleep before we took off and woke up shortly after, drank a bottle and stayed awake the rest of the flight. We met Pop-pop and Logan at the air port and went back to Mom-mom's. She fixed a nice dinner and we visited till bed time. Friday we relaxed and then went to John's sister's in the afternoon. We had a cookout and birthday cake for John! Happy birthday baby! Saturday night we all went to the boardwalk. It is really beautiful. There are shops, restaurants, carnival rides and games, etc. Something for everyone. We got there around 4 and stayed till just after 8. I think everyone was worn out by the time we got home. Trace put his little feet in the sand... it was bright and I forgot his hat. Bad mommy.... The sun was setting on the boardwalk so we were in the shade. I put him in the sling and he just loved watching everything and everyone. He loves to be out and about. I think he is going to be social like his mommy... He didn't know what to look at next there were so many people and sounds and colors. He did great! The boys played golf that morning so they were wiped out. It was really warm and sunny the entire weekend. Sunday we went to John's Aunt Gail's house for a Miller family picnic. Everyone got to hold and love on the baby. The big kids got in the pool. It was a hot one. Monday we headed back to Nashville. Trace did great on the trip back too. We picked up Tilly at Miss Kitty's. It was her first time boarding in her five years of life. She goes there to get her hair done so at least she was familiar with it. I decided to get her a summer do... I have been letting it grow but she was getting pretty shaggy! Hi to everyone!

An airplane does what?!?

I'm not sure about this mommy.

Flying is easy... it makes me giggle.

no hope... he already likes to read the sports page...

Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial Day weekend! Grandma and Grandpa Ed came up on Saturday and stayed till Monday afternoon. Aunt Kristen stayed with us too! So there were a lot of people to hold the baby boy... Sunday we packed a picnic and went to a local winery. I had never been before but read an article about it recently. They have wine tastings and you can purchase the wine to drink on the property (and take home). They have a lot of covered areas to picnic and relax. There were a lot of people there. It was up on a hill so we had a great breeze and really enjoyed relaxing on the patio. Trace was great of course... I didn't get any scenic shots but it was a really pretty place and its only about 30 minutes from our house. Daddy, Trace and I will have to go back. They had live music outside which they have Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. http://www.arringtonvineyards.com/ Here is a link for you locals...
Monday we went downtown Franklin (Franklin is a small town near us with a really cute downtown that has several stores and restaurants) and walked around and then over to the Factory at Franklin (an old factory that has been turned into a mall). We had lunch downtown at Puckets Grocery... tasty! Then it was time for everyone to go home. Thank you Grandpa Ed for getting a few things done around the house. I got a plant to hang on my new hook out front! :)
This past weekend we had our neighbors over for a cookout. Greg and Carla... I didn't get a picture with them... Bad mommy! Aunt Kristen came over too!
Thursday we are headed to Delaware to see Trace's other Grandparents. Mom-mom and Pop-pop. As well as Trace's Aunt Trista and Uncle Lee and his cousins Tyler and Amber.
We will fly into Baltimore and Pop-pop is picking us up. Stay tuned... for details of Trace's first flight.
Mommy, Trace and Tilly taking a nap!
Trace working on his standing skills... He looks terrified but I promise he was having fun... He thought he was super cool.

Trace enjoying his bumbo and his new bug toy. Also "tiger" you cant see him very well but you will... He really likes him. :)

Yorkie in the way.....

It was warm the day we went to Arrington Vineyards so I took a washcloth to put on Trace's face. He tends to get a heat rash on his little face. He liked it...
