Oh No!!!

"Oh No" is Trace's new favorite word and it is appropriate for this blog. Trace has H1N1!!

He started running a fever on Saturday night but he is in that teething stage so I was only mildly concerned. I checked on him a few times through the night and he was really warm. I kept giving him Tylenol and the fever would not break. So Sunday morning I took him to the walk in clinic... and yes, its H1N1. I think I took him at the best time possible because by the time I got him back home he barely wanted to move. He just want to be held and he would moan... Per the doctors recommendations I upped the frequency of the Motrin and Tylenol and got the Tamaflu filled. It only took a few hours for the tamaflu to kick in and he was up playing in the floor with John by dinner time. He finally ate some dinner and seemed to be feeling better. I guess I am home for the week.. which stinks since I was out for a class all last week. I did go in to work for a few hours this morning to clear my desk and get a few things done. I spent the rest of the day babying my baby!!! Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthily!
Oh No!!!! Poor little sick eyes

I tried to get a few pictures tonight but he just wanted to sit in my lap so I had to get creative!

Checking out the other goblins

Trace had fun trick or treating... he didn't really understand but we had fun with our friends Mark and Andrea and their family. Andrea had organic snacks at home so I just let Trace have those!!! It was a better choice for a one year old than candy! He didn't care.

Pumpkin time

My sweet boy has had a little head cold this weekend. I loaded him up and Vitamin C and hope he feels better soon... He did want to be held a lot this weekend so that was ok with me. :)

Trace's reaction to his "ladies" being in town

We had a great weekend. Aunt Michelle, Uncle Chuck, Leah, Laura and Samantha came to stay with us. Grandpa Heering came up to stay with Aunt KK so we had tons of fun with tons of people! Saturday was a beautiful day (warm, 70's and sunny and a wonderful breeze) so we went to the Country Ham Festival. There was lots of fried food, country hams, crafts, games, music, etc. We had fun just being together and enjoying the weather. Saturday night we had a birthday dinner and cupcakes for all of the September birthdays.
Thanks for coming to see us, Trace loved it!!!!
