A weekend of spoiling.

Grandma and Grandpa Ed came up to spend the weekend with us. Trace had lots of fun being spoiled. He is getting in a few teeth so he was actually a little needy which is out of character for him but Grandma did great. He really enjoyed the extra attention and love. Grandma and Grandpa Ed kept Trace Saturday night so John and I could go to dinner for my birthday. It was a very nice night. We went to one of my favorite restaurants. There was an hour wait and we loved every minute of chatting at the bar with a glass of wine as well as the dinner. Even better, they got up with Trace at 6:30 so John and I could sleep in till 8!!!!!!!! Awesome! Thanks again guys.
Aunt Kristen came over on Sunday. More spoiling! : ) We all went to lunch on Sunday, it topped off a great weekend that was, as always, too short. Trace showed off his walking skills teetering back and forth around the living room and into Grandma's arms. he is such a sweet baby boy.

Trace did GREAT!

Trace did great on Tuesday. We got there at 6, signed him in met with everyone and he was taken back at 7. They called us about 7:08 to talk to the doctor. He was done and it went well. His ears were full of junk they cleaned them out and gave us some drops to use for a few days. They warned us several times that he would be really fussy after the anesthesia but of course our little man was just chilling in the nurse's arms when we went back to get him. We got him dressed and gave him some milk and headed out by 7:30. They did a great job and were very efficient. He took several naps but seemed to feel good all day.
Clean up on aisle.....
Two! (It's hard times... everyone has to earn their keep...
Trace did have turkey burger for dinner)

He loved his ankle bracelet!

Aunt Kristen came over to give him extra hugs and kisses!

Getting sleepy with Tiger and Aunt Kristen.

Happy February

sweet baby face (don't mind the cookie smeared across his mouth)

Sleepy baby boy...

chillin in his Whitney chair
We had a nice weekend. It was in the 60's and 70's here so we got out of the house and it was so nice to see the sunshine and feel some warm air. Trace got his 7th ear infection this week but I caught it early and got the antibiotics started. So by this weekend he was feeling good and really happy. He has his tube surgery on Tuesday. We have to be at the hospital at 6am and his surgery is at 7am. They say it doesn't take very long. I hate putting him under the anesthesia. I really hope this helps. Please pray for our little baby boy that he does well and that it helps keep him feeling great. Thanks.

Super

Guilty?
Just gonna see what is behind this mom...

I cant get into the laundry room... the door is shut...

Trace liked watching the super bowl. He thought the commercials were pretty good.

I need to turn this up...

Today is Trace's first Super Bowl. I am sad that I am running out of "firsts". This can only mean he will be one soon... ah.... He is definitely on the move and has been taking a few steps here and there. I think three has been his max. He is curious and smart. Loves to point at anything and everything and say "huh?". Wanting you to name everything. He loves it. He was very lovey this weekend... We got lots of wet kisses...
