I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We enjoyed being around family and having a great meal together. I am thankful to my family for everything you have done to help us through our first year with our little August Trace. He is such a joy to watch and love.

New Seat!

Grandma and Grandpa Ed came by today. Grandpa Ed's daughter got married North of Nashville this weekend so they were on their way back home and stopped to spend a few hours with us too. We went to watch the Eagles tie... What is that anyway? Then we went to Target and got Trace a big boy car seat. He has outgrown his carrier... sad, sad.... Daddy is going to put it in the car tomorrow but we thought we would try it out.

I'm sorry this video is not only really dark but also sideways.... I tried to do a retake and he didn't want to cooperate... It was just too cute not to post.

sweet baby boy
fun in the leaves (on his Kristen blanket)

Snuffy I don't want to play right now...

What did you say snuffy????

Oh, yes I am a big boy!

Happy birthday sweet baby boy.
I cant believe he is eight months old. I love him more and more every day. He is so much fun and I love seeing what he is learning / noticing every day.
8 Things about our eight month old.
1. Still... sleeps GREAT!
2. He has one tooth, it just came in.. its kind of 1/2 a tooth, but we are claiming it.
3. He is babbling. He likes you to babble back to him.
4. He does the army man, still not a true crawl
5. Loves to 'army man' over to the yorkie's food and water bowl
6. Is a great eater, loves his yogurt, banana's and just starting apple juice
7. He sits up by himself, and can get into the sitting position in his crib. (we lowered it just in time) :)
8. He loves his mommy and thinks his daddy is super funny. We love you Trace!

Grandma and Grandpa Ed came up to spend the weekend with us. Aunt Kristen came over to see us too. We took TONS of pictures so this is just a little peak at the cute little man.
Trace felt the cool air and got a little seasonal feeling... so hohoho everyone.

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. We took Trace over to our friends house. We did a little trick or treating but only got candy from one house because we all know who will be eating it! Trace loved seeing the other kids dressed up.

Trace loved looking at all the kids dressed up!

This is my shy face...

some of the costumes confused him a bit...

Daddy and Trace trick or treating! It was a little warm so we kept the hood off.
