I had a GREAT mothers day weekend. First of all THE SUN CAME OUT in what felt like months. I think it rained for 10 days straight around here and I was in a real estate class all week with a four hour exam on Friday (it didn't take me four hours but that's what they gave you to take it!) We have mentioned before that Trace likes to catch up on sleep on the weekends.... Well I guess last week with Mom in town and then school all week he was really tired. He went to bed at 8:00 Friday night (after staying up late to play with Logan) and woke up at 10:30 on Saturday morning. Drank some milk, ate breakfast, played a little and couldn't take it anymore at 12:00 Noon... he went down for a nap... He slept till 3:00 when I woke him up to get him ready to go to dinner.

Dinner was awesome. John took Trace and I to a new place in Cool Springs "the Cajun Steamer". It is Louisiana style seafood at its best. We got the Cajun steamer for two! It was awesome with crawfish, huge shrimp, raw oysters and crab legs. It was tasty! It was a beautiful evening, the weather was perfect. 75, nice breeze, clear skies... we sat out on the patio and ate a great meal. John got me flowers and a Gigi's cupcake that we shared. : ) Sunday Trace again slept till 10:00 after going to bed at 7:00 Saturday night. John made me an omelet with mimosa's (while our child slept... crazy I know... ) Then we all went for a nice long walk. We came back and enjoyed the afternoon with some golf and ended the evening with Sushi! It was just a fantastic weekend with my two favorite boys! I love you baby Trace. You make me proud to be a mommy!

PS... I love my mommy... she is a great mother and a fantastic Grandmother! It is so much fun to see how much she loves me and my baby too!

And a Happy Mothers day to all of you mothers out there... especially my sister Michelle who is a fantastic Mother!!!!.... also to Terry and Trista!
