Yes I did!

Yes, I did cut Trace's hair. It was a little out of control. Don't get me wrong, I love it long but it needed a little shaping up. We found a cool place that just does kids cuts and it was perfect. There was so much going on... music...lights...bright colors... movies and a dinosaur to eat (after mommy sanitized it with Lysol)... that he could care less about the lady coming at him with scissors. He was great (as usual)! And he looks super cute! She gave me his hair all in a neat little zippy. She was so cute and collected almost everything she cut!

Last weekend

Grandma and Grandpa Ed with Trace

Last weekend Grandma and Grandpa Ed came to visit. Aunt Kristen came over for dinner on Friday and spent the night with us too. Trace was still getting over his latest ear infection so he really enjoyed all the extra love and attention.

Ten Months!!!!!!!!!!

Trace knew that the Eagles were playing today so he was trying some tackle moves on Sunffy.

Ten months... my little man is getting so big!

Ten things about our ten month old:

1. Loves to walk holding on to the sofa and his activity table.

2. Loves to chase Tilly but she is much faster. He looks at her with amazement.

3. Still a great eater and doing well with his finger foods.

4. Has ANOTHER ear infection so we have to go talk to the ear, nose and throat folks about tubes in his ears. :(

5. Plays ball, throws and catches. His teacher said he had "a good arm" think he got that from mommy? ummmm no!

6. Has 2 teeth and working on several others.

7. I have to say.... Still sleeps GREAT... I am very blessed.

8. Can give high fives on command

9. Gives kisses on command... when he wants to...

10. Loves his mommy, daddy, tiger and yorkie... he has also taken up a love affair with one of Tilly's toys. It is a Christmas bear from several years ago and and it says bah hum bug on it. It is now known as the hum bug bear and it gets washed often!

Another Gray Day

Trace kept looking out the window like he wanted to go outside this morning. However it is another gray January day here in Nashville and a little rainy so we decided it would be better to stay inside.

Happy 2009!!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year from August Trace. We think it is going to be an awesome year for all of us. We are hoping for good health, warm weather and lots of laughter. Trace is getting to be such a big boy. He is such a good baby (I can still call him that...). I'm so proud of him already. He is doing great with eating finger foods and still loves all meals. I dont know where he gets that from. I'm sure we will hit a point where all he will eat is mac n cheese but for now I enjoy giving him the healthiest food I can. I am still learning with my new camera. Trace and I had a fun play day today so I thought I would snap a few.
